What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, keep essential functions working, or understand how pages are used. Similar technologies such as localStorage may be used for the same purposes.
How we use cookies
Cloudbackendanalytics uses essential cookies (and localStorage) to remember your cookie consent choice and to keep basic site behaviour reliable. Optional analytics cookies are used only if you accept them via the cookie banner. Rejecting optional cookies does not block browsing, reading articles, or sending an estimate request.
Types of cookies
- Essential — required for consent storage and core site operation.
- Analytics — optional measures of page visits and referral sources to improve content clarity.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| cloudbackendanalytics_cookie_consent | Stores whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies | Until cleared (localStorage) | Cloudbackendanalytics |
| _cba_session | Maintains a short-lived essential session signal for form reliability where applicable | Session | Cloudbackendanalytics |
| _cba_analytics | Optional aggregate visit counts (set only after Accept) | 6 months | Cloudbackendanalytics |
Managing or disabling cookies
On your first visit you can Accept or Reject optional cookies in the banner. To change a stored choice later, clear site data for cloudbackendanalytics.digital in your browser settings, then reload the page to see the banner again. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser; essential site pages will still load, though consent preferences may not persist.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts or images loaded from third-party hosts (for example font or image CDNs) may set their own cookies according to those providers’ policies. We do not control those third-party cookies. Review the provider’s documentation if you wish to restrict them at the browser level.
Impact of disabling cookies
Rejecting or blocking optional analytics cookies does not prevent you from reading engagements, field notes, or contacting us. Blocking all cookies may reset your consent preference on each visit and, in some browsers, may affect unrelated site features that rely on storage.
